Lack of Motivation

Here are 3 scientifically proven methods to retrieve motives:

If you lack motivation these days, you are not alone. The Covid-19 pandemic has weakened the willpower and motivation of the people across the country. Psychologists say this is a completely normal response. Fortunately, there are research-supported methods that can motivate you and get back on track.

Are you the end of the day? Or worse, a week? Want to know where the time is, why don’t you have more opportunities to show it?

If this happened recently, it’s not just you. The Covid-19 pandemic has destroyed almost everyone’s work routines and workplace relationships. The euphoria caused by the rapid development of effective vaccines has made people frustrated with the time it takes to provide these vaccines to those in need. Then the winter weather affected the entire country. No wonder so many of us (including me) feel grumpy, depressed and unmotivated at work.

These are some of the most effective strategies you can try to retrieve motives.

1. Create rituals that will elevate you, not drag you down.

What should I do after getting up in the morning? When do you get off work at night? Rituals are like habits, but you choose them selectively instead of just falling into them.

For example, before starting work, you can spend 15 minutes on Facebook, or 10 minutes in a diary, and 5 minutes in a brief meditation. A lot of research shows that spending time on Facebook can greatly worsen your mood and even lead to depression, and depending on your writing style, diary writing has the potential to make you feel happier. Meditation can enhance the mood even more. Even if it’s just a local park, exercising and blending into nature have proven to be refreshing.

The point here is not that you should start with journaling and meditation every day. This combination works for me, but something completely different may work for you. For example, exercise does not seem to allow me to do it in the morning, but for me, it works well during the evening rest in the afternoon. The key is that you should consider the daily habits you are building and choose habits that will both attract you and help you improve your mood.
